In Singapore, public spaces usually filled with the lively chatter of migrant worker revolve around gathering in groups for recreational activities on the weekend. According to the Singapore department's statistic, close to 40 per cent of the Singapore population are non-resident, including immigrant, foreign worker, and domestic helper. It has accounted that almost a quarter of the people contribute significantly to Singapore and the local workforce. Plus, as the word 'migrant worker', they are constantly being mistreated or discriminated against has become a social ethos. Hence, they are playing a vital role in our daily community and everyday lives. Just like they exist in our daily lives community, they also need our emotional support. This thesis aims to provide them with a better nation that embraces and celebrates the presence of migrant workers, bridging together the synergies of both migrant and local community.
